Just curious to see what kinds of graduation songs there are and this is why.


I was sitting in the grass watching Senior graduation and it was kinda boring. Then Finally after all the pointless speeches and talks about freshman-senior years, they announced the Graduates and then comes the much anticipated announcement...."Congratulations class of 09, you are officially Graduated!" and then comes the song. Nickelback- If today was your last Day. And it just bought it to life as all the seniors tossed their hats. It was actually pretty full of emotion and fit perfectly.


So.. What is your favorite graduation Song or what WAS your graduation song?

My friends who graduated this year made there own song for graduation. 'Class of 2009 Song' not sure what the exact name was, but it was pretty rad.

for us, it was mostly romanian songs which you guys dont know . Each class had a certain song when taking group pic and our song was a really perv song about a sex teacher.. the teachers around were horrified, I dont think theyr were expectingthe DJ to put that on LOL.

other class had Pink Floyd - We Don't Need No Education ^^

it was the classic graduation song played on piano.

for prom vals: chayanne - tiempo de vals
for official graduation and prom ending a video was projected with baby pictures of everyone, and photos of the class from preschool up to 12th grade, more than 1000 pictures. everyone was hugging in a huge semicircle around the projector with a mixture of laughs and cries. song on background was: enanitos verdes - amigos

everyone cried at the end... aaah good times in high school...
they're both in spanish

We don't have a special song at our school, they just played pomp and circumstance as we walked in during the ceremony.

hm...i don't remember, wasn't very memorable

we didn't have a song...

I guess.. Can't remember at song in any case..

though the only thing I remember is that my father went to the wrong graduation.. (same school, other level of smartness, he thought I was smarter) and that those fucks told the whole crowd that I was going to Host Studies, instead of International Tourism...

mine's next week, a year late for me but it's all good.

I never went to any of my graduations but the song I always associate with high school, college or uni has got to be Lostprophets - Last Summer

just went to the yearbook signing night, now im sad
