I'm really new about building a computer (Cause i always had a laptop) so i need a help in it, specially choosing a Processor and a Motherboard.

I already got the rest (Hard Drive 250gb, CD/DVD burner, 2GB ram and the case) with a help of my friend.

But im really undecided about the processor and mobo thing.
So, my question is:
Wich Processor to choose? Here, on the local computers centers stores they sell Dual Core 2.5ghz for 82$, but i'd like to get a Core 2 Dual 2.8ghz just for 53$ more. But anywas, is there a big difference in it?

and 2: About the mobo, should i get an Intel DP43 'pure' and a Video Card 1GB GeFORCE NVIDIA for about 185$? or just get the PC CHIPS with integrated Video Card of 512 for a cheaper price of 50$?
I know Intel is pretty good, yet they are quite expensive. So i want to know if anyone has PC CHIPS mobo cause my friend has it and he say he never got a problem with it.
Talking about pure and integrated (I hope those definitions are familiars to you :S): What are they difference between each other?
Also, about the Video Card Memory: is enough for 512? or i could get 1gb? if you ask if i play games, yes i do. Specially when i got nothing to do so :P

Any others suggestion are welcome.

Note: I'd like a really fast computer wich i can execute many programs at the same time. Less time of loading and powerfull to play games.

I would appreciate your opinion, and it would help a lot in my Decision and economic issue :)

Can you specify the graphics card model? You definitely do not want on board graphics if you want to play good games at medium/high settings. Go for the Core2Duo as it will run cooler and is generally faster in all aspects.. I spent about 1300$~ (+- 100) on my computer and I can pretty much run every program I have at once. It really depends on your usage, how you want to play your games..etcetc.

You are computer illiterate. Post names of everything(CPU, Vid Card, PSU, RAM etc.)
