My name is just hopeless for anyone foreign. I let them refer to me as Walt (I don't dig Walter) because no matter how I try and describe it, it always come out as 'wooter'.
It's real simple, just wou-ter and say the ou like it's the ou from Outch!
(In Dutch the R is pronounced as 'Er' so it makes the name Wout-er, wouter)
When I lived in America I had Farking nametags with Wooter on it. A teacher was even convinced I was dyslexic because I wrote down Wouter instead of Wooter every time.
But yeah, I can't pronounce Arab names for shit, I guess certain languages/names will always be hard to pronounce by people with a different mother tongue.
Btw, are you guys happy with your name? Real life name I mean.
Myself I'm pretty neutral about it, it's not bad and it's not good.

Agree with this. But its not so cool to know that I'm named after one of Jesus' apostle, a fricken fisherman.
