My phone was a POS half the buttons don't work anymore, it hangs up randomly and the battery is shot so it only works for two hours these days.

I spent a week shopping for a new phone. I read reviews, I shopped online, I went to stores and played with the phones they had in stock, and most of them I downvoted because it was so hard to send a simple text message.

On the 29th, LG released its new enV3 and two days later I have one. The enV2 had its problems; some functional and some reliable but so far... I LOVE THIS PHONE.

Its amazing. The front portion does everything my old phone did and then some, from contacts, calling and texting so for a lot of use you don't have to open it. Granted, its a front face phone so its more vunerable to wear or breaking. But its pretty convenient just to pick it up and reply or add somebody without opening it. Its gots the newer better battery, headphone port, memory card, usb port which is also the charging plug

Of course, opens with a full keyboard. Im in heaven. It has a spacebar. A shift key. All numerics and symbols. GONE are the days of pressing a key 20 times to find a Farking comma. The display isnt as big as my brothers blackberry storm, but the quality is great and to me, that screen is huge compared to my old phone. Unlike my brothers blackberry, my thumbs can actually press keys without hitting the wrong one or 2-3 at a time.

The camera is awesome too. 2048x1536. The quality is amazing for a cell phone, altho it blurs if your too close like most digitials. It has a dozen camera features including face recognition, and a FLASH. The best part - you hold it like a regular camera! It can also do basic photo edits, resize, rotating, contrast and so forth

Its easy to use; I've done a lot on it already from taking and sending pics, texting, contact list, voice commands, music, and browsing - without taking its booklet out of the wrapper. Since its not a touch screen, the internet can be a little troublesome to navigate

Now, if only I could put it down and get some work done... o.o

i would say LG make the best phones i bought the LG viewity on christmas and i love that phone its just like a high tech nokia 3310 lol

The advantage of the touch screens is the size of the screen; they dont have to make room for seperate buttons since they are all displayed.

I didnt really like the feel of my brothers touch screen phone, it kept getting the wrong button, wrong picture or wrong link especially on the internet; tho he said you get used to it

It's just freaking expencive. But imo worth it.

hm...i like my env2 =]

So this weekend I finally got around to playing with the blue tooth and paired my phone with my PC, able to drag and drop files, music pics to my phone and vise versa, downloading the data and pics I took off of it.

Regardless of which phone you fancy I'd definetly get one that supports this

Why? They are fastest way using phone. And you don't have to use joystick or arrow buttons. Joystick in my N73 broke in 2 weeks.

I hope it's cheaper than 700€. But it's not out in Finland yet so the price might be different.

Its nice phone, but I only like Nokia all other brands are just meh, and trust me I had a lot of phones.

Yep Nokia is the best. I don't even know how to use other phones. I've always had Nokia and most likely will always have.

i found that spending so much money on phone that u use for text messages and phone calls is retarded.if u want pc just buy a little laptop./me <3 asus and using samsung d500 ftw/

If you read the 300-400 some reviews for every cell phone they all break in 2 weeks, they all drop calls, they all get sent back to the manufacturer 2-4 times, and all their screens break.

Reality : Unhappy people are the majority of review writers; I love my new phone like crazy but I didnt go give it a positive review. If I got it and it was a POS broken phone you damn right I'd be on the review site quoting how badly it sucked. Im sure for every person who had to send their phone back 3 times theres many others who are perfectly happy imo

I dont like em either; sometimes I touch and nothing happens. Some links are near impossible to touch spot-on. When using the touch screen keyboard my thumbs always pressed more than 1 button. Drove me nuts

The advantage is tho, since the buttons are part of the touch screen, they have the biggest screen for pics / internet etc since the whole phone is the screen

Well if you use it for just calling and sending text messages it is retarded. And why would I buy another laptop? And I would never buy mini laptop. They are just useless.
