So I get to choose which subjects I want next year
I have a choice of:
NCEA Lv1 (National Certificate of Educational Achievement)
Engish (Compulsory)
Mathematics (Compulsory)
Accounting
Carpentry
Dance
Drama
Economics*
Food Tech
French
Geography*
Graphics
Hard Materials
History*
Horticulture
Hospitality
Human Biology
Information Management
Information Tech
Japanese*
Latin
Maori
Mechanical Engineering
Psychology
Physical Education
Samoan
Senior Sport Studies
Science
Soft Materials
Spanish
Visual Art
CIE IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education)
English Literature (Compulsory)
Mathematics (Compulsory)
Accounting
Art & Design*
Biology
Business Studies*
Chemistry
Chinese
Computer Studies*
Economics*
Food and Nutrition
Geography*
Graphics
History*
Information Tech
Music
Physical Education
Physics
Resistant Materials
Spanish
I put a * after everything that I was interested in (besides compulsory stuff)
I don't really mind what I take, but I want to know what would help me in the future. Note that I can only pick 3 subjects besides Maths and English.
Also, generally IGCSE is harder than NCEA. And in exceptional circumstances I can pick 4 CIE and 1 NCEA subjects.
