Hey i wanted to pump up the sound in my room but i cant decide what speaker set i will take
i bought for 16 euro a 250watt speaker half a year ago but im not satisfied with the quility
No actual bass..
I was thinking of the logitech z-5500 some of you migh heard of it
Its very expensive so i wanted to go for anything cheaper bu i want to be sure ithas some damn good quality.
I thought lets post it here becouse i thought some of you ppl may have experience with buying speakers or just knowing the quality
Its just hard todecide between pictures of subwoofers and satalites
Im looking for 5.1 surround sound with a nice woofer and i dont need specifications becouse it doesnt make any sense to me
I just want something that shakes all dvds out my bookcase^^
I hope this becomes an intresting thread and maybe i can come to a conclusion
I didnt know if i had to post this here or in Technical Help if i posted wrong pls move this

costs 85 euro at mediamarkt.

5.1 set (5 speakers and a sub). easy to install. i've had
this set for a while now and the sound is amazing. i have
a 20m2 room, and when i turn on the sound to like 1/4th of
it's volume i basically get bounced out of my room.

there's also a similar set, also costs 85 euro, but it has
like something over the speakers (een soort gaas ofzo hoe
heet dat spul). the good thing about that one is that you
can mount the mid speaker (the small one on top) to the top
of your monitor. this one also has a small remote on which
you can adjust volume and bass. the one i bought has the
bass adjustment on the back of the woofer. i didn't pick
that other set because i liked the looks of mine better :]

Now, i have no idea what the current price on these guys are, but let me tell you that they have worked wonders for me. They have a great range, and are able to keep the quality perfect (or close to) nearly up to full crank on the volume control. Of course mixed with a little sound software and proper equalizer you can get an awesome experience.

The Woofer, well its not the best that i have experienced, but for a larger than average room which i have, it does great! I've even had complaints from downstairs neighbors on occasion.

So, these are good, but i dont know what price range to give you. However, there is one thing i would like to comment on. The volume wheel, in my experience has a tendency to become... how do you say. Over sensitive, at times the vibration from the music itself will change the volume.. but this is merely due to wear and tear on the control, since it uses a smooth turning system, instead of a notch system.

Well, there is my input. Gluck on finding your sound system :)

Thnx again
I rly loved the set cin was talking about
Maybe i will be able to suctomize them to hang them for satalite speakers if they dont have it already
My room is ver ver small so no worries about range i have like 5m2 here
Loved Key-J's set too but you were talking about the bass turing up his own volume i hope it isnt too extreme
To Love: this set is real nice but i rly want to buy surround sound for some reason i just love having the music swinging around me
I preferr 4 Satalite speakers 1 mid for yes on my monitor
And i rly need some bass price up to 200 euros
Other suggestions alwasy welcome im not sure if i buy the x530 it looks nice but im not rly sure about the bass yet
Our neighbours live 140 meters away from our house so Rly want it pumpin
Going to media markt soon maybe they have suggestions too but you guys rly seem to have some good experiences with speakers sets
