how to get windows 7 rc to run in higher res

I have a laptop that supports res of 1280 by 800 but windows 7 says max res is 1024 by 768
Any ideas of how to fix this
btw video card is NVIDIA GeForce 7150M/nForce 630M

Try downloading the vista drivers for your graphics. That is what I hada do before they have windows 7 drivers.

^ yah but who ever goes there anyway, seems like OTL FTW as always

but yah try Vista drivers fosho, because Windows 7 may not identify your video card properly (considering its in RC, it will have several drivers issues just like Vista), but the Display usually never has to do with the resolution, its only what you V-card supoorts in MOST CASES, so yah , www.nvidia.com or www.ati.com

That should work.

Go to control panel and uninstall the Nvidia drivers you have. Reboot into safe mode. Run Driver sweeper to clean any remaining nvidia files. Reboot into safe mode again and install the driver I linked above.
