Getting bike temp, help on purchase plz

Well I'm going to go get my Motorcycle Temporary Permit and I will need a bike to ride, so what should I buy, prefered chopper or sports bike design and my budget is $7500, so anyone know a good bike I could buy.

Just so you know, i secretly wish that people who ride sport bikes would crash and end up horribly mangled (or have their head crushed by a semi).
