Visual Boy Advance

Recently after reading the pokemon thread i realized that i hadn't played the game in awhile and i just felt like doing it again so i went to get visual boy advance (gameboy advance emulator for those who don't know)
it worked fine on my old computer but on my laptop it doesn't seem to want to start a game the screen goes white and just does nothing....(most likely something to do with vista but iunno, help appreciated =])
ANYWAY
I'm sure I'm not the only person who has used this program before its fun to go back and play older games occasionally (especially if it's free). Anybody else played on this before on perhaps you still do?

got it installed, never touch it. portable > computer even with all the game... oh and i cant GS either
