This proves that socialism is bs

An economics professor at Texas Tech said he had never failed a single student before but had, once, failed an entire class. That class had insisted that socialism worked, and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich...it's a great equalizer. The professor then said ok, we will have an experiment in this class on socialism .

All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A. After the first test the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. But, as the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too; so they studied little.. The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around the average was an F.

The scores never increased as bickering, blame, name calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else. All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great; but when government takes all the reward away; no one will try or want to succeed.

Could not be any simpler than that. ...Is this what we are coming to???

so the test proved that socialism doesn't work because people are leeches who like to feed off the good work of others without contributing anything of their own....

the US isn't headed for socialism but regulation of the economy is needed. Others would argue against it but the first depression proved that it worked, it was only when the gov't cut back on those regulations and subsidized programs that things started going in a downhill spiral. Theres no point in posting half a story because if you read up on capitalism its not walk in the park for people either....

The test proves communism doesn't work. Comparing the United States to the better off European countries, Canada, and Australia proves that socialism isn't that bad.

The downside? When the government uses the money it takes from its citizens on its citizens, it has less money to spend on the military. But most countries only need enough military for home security and peacekeeping.

There is no problem with socialism or most of the systems . the problem is in the individuals who try to abuse it to the limits .

In your example no one wanted to help the others . Actually the A students were not smart enough to realize by helping their C & D friends it will result in a better grades for all & they could have proven their teacher wrong.
