The songs differ a lot, listen to both - different styles.
They have two songs featuring the drummer/vocals from the Carps :O

Didn't even know, 'getting' nao! And it was released on the 17th... jeez, I thought my electro blog would have mentioned any new releases... apparently fail on their part.

I was checking out and they had it under new releases at the store by the cash register. The case really caught me (my favorite case work next to DFA1979's romance bloody romance) and I noticed it was MSTRKRFT.

Heh, good taste. And I'm listening to it right now, first song anyways. I could warm up to it fo sho. The beats are absolutely sick, vocals I'm just not quite used to yet, but I sure I will be. My favorite artwork's by M83, but that's a whole different genre.

I don't like the first song. I hate 95% of female vocals.

Well ever since CC, Hearts Revolution and YLHCSD, I kinda fell into the niche... *shrug*

Don't mind CC...I don't like female vocals like on the first song of the Fist of God album.

Master-craft is how it's pronounced. Electro group from Toronto, Canada. Me thinks?

I can dig the first one, the second one not so much. Definitely a big shift in direction. Will reserve my judgment until I can listen to the full album.

musically its ok but lyrically it lacks depth. Predictability in lyrics is always distracting for me, the music that catches my attention surprises me, this does not.

Learn genre. AFIAK, house doesn't have depth.

Musical depth, lyrical depth....depth is what makes a song of any genre stand out from rest of crap in its genre. To say a genre is incapable of depth would be saying its not capable of being good music...

Wow thats blatantly ignorant. House can, in fact, have depth. Maybe not the house you listen to, but it certainly can. And MSTRKRFT is more than just 'House'.

So the albums grown on me.
I just deleted the last 4 songs. They sucked in my opinion and were just a waste of good tech beats. Quite liking the album now ^ ^

Tell me, give me a song that has depth and is classified as house.
They might be more than just house but from what i've heard, most of there music oriented around the things that define house.
