iv had long hair since as long as i can remember. i want to cut it short and spike it.
is it a good idea? and is it a pain to spike hair? i thought maybe 1 of you guys can take me through the process of spiking ur hair, if u have spiky hair.
i dont really want to keep my long hair and if spiking my hair is simple and everything, i will cut it.

No. But spiking died out around the same time the backstreet boys split up.

When short, you can do different things to it; just remember that you have a certain hair type and can only do certain things.

I recently got short hair too. It feels pretty nacho. I do spike it up, but not the front part, only the back, so it's kind of like a Sasuke hair style. All the girls say that it looks sexy.

you dont spike the front? then the front of your hair is longer i presume what do you do with the sides. sounds like you really love your short hair

I just leave the front as it is. Also I just let my sides grow, I like them about ear-lenght. As in they cover my ears. I could take a pic for you when I get home.

I do.... my hairs short I guess compared to some other peoples.. I spike my whole head, as for putting it up , it only takes 2-3 mins for me.. i just use my fingers and a blow dryer to speed up the process, but you could use a comb, hair spray, blow dryer, whatever you like, just experiment at first to see what your most comfortable with... and if you use a comb, be sure to wash it every time after you spike/use gel with it

Just having short hair and having it off of your head is better than nothing. You do not have to completely spike your hair to consider the style.

Ok. Serious time. Wear whatever you feel comfortable with. I grew it a bit longer myself so it's slightly longer then Tsume's, but it still looks equally cool. : >

I should have said that one part is longer then the other part, meaning I've got the right side longer and the left side shorter, thus I prefer to keep that down. Trust me, it looks better then it sounds and you probably are imagining it. ^^ Keeping any kind of hair spiky is easy when you know what to apply to keep it that all day long. I use Murray's wax which is medium expensive, but very, very strong. And I'm saving up my hair at the moment so in the end it will even itself out I hope.
Or I can have it wild like a punk all the time.
