I had this kind nervousness too. But I found it only happens to me when I prepared only a bit, but when I know that my speech is pro and that I can memorize most of it I don't get nervous

I don't have a fear of public speaking though I do know a lot of people who do. Try focus on a point in the classroom, look over the people and only make eye contact if necessary, though don't over-concentrate on that point you are looking at.

Of course, try memorise your speech when you try to say it without a palm card, mark down where you stuff up or the parts you don't know. Try learn them, if that still doesn't work thats where you should put your prompts on your palm card.

Hope that makes sense.

ah i dread the word presentation! Somethings that would help i think about be..

Know your subject really well so u can talk about it almost without thinking.

Pretend your talking to either older people or very young kids or close friends.

Think to yourself "hey im just going to tell everyone what this is and im done".
Try not to think so much on the word "Presentation" cuz that can be a little intimidating sometimes.

Relax and play it cool. You don't have to rush and speed through it.

You know after you're done you will feel good the rest of the day.

Spoiler!

I was always good at these. The trick is to know what you're talking about and then to explain it. You don't write something and memorize it.

Well, that's the thing. A lot of time in persuasive speeches, or majority of speeches if it's your own opinions and your own writing, it should be easy to memorise. Though as dom said, know what you're talking about.
