A day after my B-day and I feel like a total loser getting excited about it, but it just looks really sweet now. Although I know most of the orignal star Trek crap because my dad is a star rek freak lol. And he's some hard ass construction guy lol.Anyone else not usually a star trek fan that find this cool?

I actually liked Star Trek Voyager lol, but aside form that one I know pretty much nothin about it, but this movie does look pretty sweet~

I love watching the original :oops:

But also love next generation, voyager, and even enterprise (didn't think much of DS9) Suppose you could call me a trekkie :oops:

I liked Star Trek: Enterprise alot.
I loved the Enterprise intro, showing mans progress throughout the centuries.
This movie looks great.

There's only so many movies they can make...after this one, I think they should stop, already.

I'm a big fan of both the original (despite the campy special effects, they did well for their time) and TNG. Voyager was ok, DS9 didn't do anything for me and Enterprise was meh.

I want a Battlestar Galactica/Star Trek/Star Wars movie. A thousand Jean-Luc Picard's cloned and attacking the Cylons!

I have honestly only seen a couple of star trek stuff, so I wouldn't call my self a diehard fan. However, this movie looks amazing and I can't wait to see it.

I've never seen a minute of a star trek clip, but I have defnitely heard of it before. This should be interesting.

I saw it. It was pretty good. It was an action movie. A sci-fi action movie but it had a solid plot and solid characters and was a great start to revamping the series. All the new cast did a great job reinventing their roles while still keep essential elements of their characters. Like i said its an action movie so while the characters are star trek and theres a fair amount of inside jokes its easily accessible to all people.

I hope though that the action thing isn't a continuous trend. Star Trek was alot more than space fights, there was touches of subjects much deeper so i'll expect something different if they make a sequel....when they make a sequel....

Well cast signed for 3 movies but apparently fans will "decide" if there will a 2nd or a 3rd one. If the movie failed no sequels.

From what I've read by critics in newpapers, if you can believe them, and interviews with cast and crew: it's quite likely the sequels will be there.

. Next generation with Picard and Riker is best

Altough this movie is something totaly diferent im looking forvard seeing it.
