Yea, I wish when they do make a movie of a game, they make it like the freakin game.

Like Resident Evil, I think it's an ok movie, but it kinda seems like just a high budget cheap scifi movie, it should of been like the first game -.-, I can understand that maybe not everyone wants to see everything after playing it, but then just add stuff or make smaller changes.

I think it would of been awesome to see the tyrant killing wesker and stuff, hunters a giant snake(mebbe lol). Anyway, I just think if nothin else it should of had/been about Jill, Chris, Barry, Wesker, Rebecca, the other S.T.A.R.S, and the Umbrella mansion/lab.

True they shuda took abit more time on it instead of half assed, rushed movies imo the Resi movies could of been so much more.

i heard of higurashi no koro ni's a while ago... i would lol if the violence mimicked that of the show.

i heard about aht bebop thing...if reeves gets the part im going to kill him....there is no way he can play spike speigal...

The japanese Live action is probably better.

Already been a few live action anime and some were good, but some were so so.

And as for Akira, rumors been around for years.

So far from the list in this thread, I got my eye on this, Battle Angel Alita, Akira, and Cowboy Bebop. As for Death Note, I'm over it. They milked the franchise too much.

On video games to movies, Silent Hill was actually pretty good.

Last night I saw the trailer for DB. I was going "wtf is this?" the whole time and then when they showed it was the DB live action I just went .

Theres already a live action on Death Note (its in JAP). I would definitely consider watching Akira

Yes, but America wants to stab Death Note with it's rusty fork of damnation. (I think there is actually 3 Japanese DN movies)

There are 3 Japanese live-action movies of Death Note, I only watched two of them. They tweaked and shuffled the storyline a lot from the manga, urgh. The worst though is that both Raito and L actors had near 0% similarity to their manga counterparts from a "looks" point of view.

A comic/manga/game/anime to live-action movie adaptation I'm looking forward though would be World of Warcraft. And something tells me that a live-action adaptation of Code Geass would be... urgh.

WoW movie would be great. The lore is so huge they can practically take a random article from WoWWiki and make it into a movie.

They already came out with a live-action of Death Note cuz I saw it in Columbus, Ohio like a year ago and it was limited edition pretty much and waso nly on for about a week lol!!

Akira? No thanks. I mean the anime was absolutely epic, for its time it was such a revolutionary piece which transformed the way anime was to be produced in years to come. But a live action film? They could never pull it off, nothing can compare to the brilliant artwork they achieved. Why remake something thats already hit perfection?
