I lost all faith in him. How could he say something as cruel as that? It clearly shows he's the Anti Christ of which so many people warned us about. All those people were right now, and we all called them idiots and rednecks for it. What about all those people who he offended? That's so incredibly cruel!

Not a big deal. It just shows that the guy's human. I know some people are going to rant about the whole "he should be a role model" bullshit but seriously, do you think those people are good "role models" themselves? Fuck no! It was a half-joke, half-comment thing that goes on in every normal conversation in the planet. The real tragedy is how all these media-driven people think that they're so fucking holy and pure that they have the audacity to criticize someone for saying something that is so insignificant.

If it matters, before the show was aired (as I'm sure you realize it is not, in face, live), he made sure to apologize to the Special Olympics Committee and something or other about their bowling team.
