Vortex game on iPod (Nano 4g)

Everytime I play Vortex and on every level ,so far, the game plays by itself. Is this normal?
Vortex sucks anyways. Maze is the shit.
I got my ipod like half a year ago and I still haven't beat it. It's really hard.
Could be my skills but I prefer to think it's a hard game.
