But no really. My hands are incredibly soft and squishy. Their nasty tbh.
So any ideas on how to "toughen" up my hands?

I dont know how my friend does it, but his hands are scaly, has peeling skin, and extremely dry.
The 2 ways I know how to get many hands are woodworking and construction lol

You can play guitar, that makes your fingers tougher. As for hands... I'm not totally sure.

My hands are soft yet firm and they always have a gentle warmth. I would hate them if they were shovels. A friend of mine has some hardened hands, but he's a Chef.

I got small, soft feminism(sp?) hands too =( problem with mine is that they are always cold, so it loses the point of being soft, since i wont touch anyone with them lol...

I do too... I'm comfortable with my sexuality so having soft hands doesnt bother me, infact i like it. I'd hate to have rough skin on my hands.
But if you want to 'toughen' them up, get some logs and an Axe and goto work. 5 hours a day for a month, you'll have shitloads more muscle and toughened up hands.
try getting that, should be really cheap, its for strengthening your fists, its made of rubber and you squeeze it, pretty simple :p people will avoid handshaking you in a while out of fear of getting their hands crushed

My girl friend seems to enjoy them.
My friends find it really strange. I feel completely opposite of you, I really enjoy them I find it really funny. Their being torn up a bit because I'm lifting weights now, but gloves solve that problem.

You should kick that feeling out of your head. Your hands have nothing to do with masculinity, and girls are probably going to like it better on the soft side rather than a gritty hand that feels like sandpaper.
