Do you guys drool when asleep? Apparently I do. I didn't use to now I wake up in the middle of the night and have to swim up to my closet to get another pillow.

As I was googling for some answers, apparently this is a disorder. But why did it just appear out of nowhere... it's kinda annoying.

I do, all the time actually it sucks waking up in a pool of saliva

My friend used to do it too, so he tried taping his mouth shut he's about to go to bed, and it worked, he never drool again when he sleeps. Thinking of trying it myself

I do but its really rare.

Well, I did notice about the safety issue, but it worked for him apparently, because there're no ninjas that climb into his house and plug his nostrils when he's sleeping lolz

edit: and the method is just to condition himself to not open the mouth when he's sleeping, after a few weeks, he sleeps without the tape of course

I drool big time. The only way I can fix it is if I lay on my back. My mouth always seems to open when I'm asleep, so when I'm on my back the drool doesn't leak onto my pillow. Shit sucks.

I've also heard that I snore pretty bad too, but I think they're bullshitting because I've actually heard myself a couple times and it's quiet compared to some people I know.

I just sleep weird in general.

I'll start off right smack in the middle of the bed taking up all the space but by the time I wake up one of my pillows is across the room infront of the bathroom door the other two are on the ground. My blanket has fallen behind the head board while I'm curled up in the corner pressed against the wall clinging to my last pillow....this was also accompanied with a puddle of drool but that has stopped. I have no explanation as to why, it just did.

when i sleep well or over a friends house i drool like crazy....also when i sleep in class i end up drooling alot....i don;t mind it though, a wet mouth breeds less bacteria plus it lets me know i slept well, dunno, the after thought is relaxing somehow...

Yeah but for some reason I grab my shirt and start wiping off the saliva.

I don't drool.

Though when I was going to Italy there was a guy who had fallen asleep. His reading glasses fell onto his stomach and then he began drooling on them, and all down his chest. Meanwhile, his girlfriend was taking pictures.

Most people it's the opposite . In winter they get blocked nose so they sleep with their mouth open and shit goes all over their pillow.
