How do you know when you're REALLY in love?

Just say like what you feel and such..

Well, for me, love's when I look at her and it's like the time flies, love is when just the simple touch of her hand makes me shake, love is when I spend my free-time thinking about her (yeah, like that ^^), love is when I don't mind getting grounded just for 1 minute spent with her. Love is when I miss that girl even if I saw her 10 minutes ago. Love is.. magical really.

Truth. You know...when she is the only one who can effect you in ways no one else could. When you know every imperfection about her....and you love them all. When your eyes can meet from across the gym at a basketball game, and you know she's looking at you, and she smiles, and your heart sinks because you know she's smiling because of you.

I'm a hopeless romantic at heart.
But meh. Been there, done that. Thought she was the one. Those were my feelings the whole time. And I guess this is where it got me. Single and as BurningWolf said, she was the only one who could hurt me like that.

Bleh, I have mixed feelings towards this thread. On one hand, it's great to think about her. But on the other, I hate thinking about her and how I don't have her anymore.

it's way too hard to define love, and there's no standart to it, there's no genuine love as far as intelligent exists..There are diff kinds of love, with diff intensities.
Try loving someone you hate, then compare it with what some of you have written in this thread..

Ofc, if you wanna be romantic about it, sure but.. if you wanna define a fairytale's love where everything's perfect, and that makes you feel good about it, go ahead it makes me feel good too when i think bout it, and i try to believe something like that can happen irl, even if im aware i'm fooling myself, i don't care.
