yeah i have the problem too :/ too run smoothly i gotta lets it load to the end and perhaps view it 2x however i'm tihnking it's more likely to be a problem from youtube. youtube is fairly simplstic, they've never really specialized in video quality. so even their HD isn't much. probably the signal isn't as good as it can be and if you've got an older computer it may have trouble processing it.

Youtube used to be totally awful for me in the past, alot of the mirrors were at 56k niveau while I have a 16MBit connection... but now since they got the HD vids, and when switching to HQ / HD mode your stream usually coming from a ***.googlevideo.com mirror, I get decent speeds. That's why often my vid in HD buffers faster than if I view it in normal quality from one of the shit mirrors.
I doubt the issue is hardware related. If you have not upgraded your Flash player, try upgrading. If your Flash player is up to date, try downgrading. The point is to try another version. Also, try YouTube in another browser.
Well,if I remember correctly, those HD videos used to run smoothly when they were just implemented. My pc is 2 years and half old (2.8x2 Ghz, 2gb ram, nvidia 7300 512mb), so it's probably that <.<
i have same problem, also with HQ,and my internet is very good,dl with 10mb always at any hour from romanian tracker,outside..idk 4+ oh and my pc is dual core 4gb ram,8600 gt bla bla...

Youtube's HD mode is just a fancy term they use for videos without compression. They're usually around the same size as the regular Youtube video minus the shitty quality we were so used to Youtube having before their little change. If they don't load quick it could be those particular videos, or you just got stuck with a slow download. I've had the same videos load slow and fast depending on when I view them.
