Dumb move. She admitted kicking her shoe at him. Once you initiate contact, anything that happens afterwards can be ruled as self defense on the officer's part.

That's for a jury to decide and the evidence clearly shows it did not warrant that kind of abuse from the officer.

I agree with the Father, take his badge away and lock him up. In all honesty, who knows what could happen next? :(

Technically. If i went to a store and "borrowed" something without permission, its not stealing. Love it.

Do you know how stupid that sounds? so what if she kicked her shoe...no one
deserves that.

The law is much more open for interpretation than your morals.

Next time I want a new pair of shoes I'm totally gonna borrow them without permission. :P

Even if it may sound stupid, it's reality. Whoever hits first is in the wrong.

Suppose you are outside and someone walks up to you talking trash, getting in your face. If you push them, they can kick your ass and the police will be able to arrest you for assault afterwards if the person decides to press charges. That person will not be in the wrong. This has happened to a few of my friends.

What a dumb lying bitch. "It didn't hit him at all" right after they show us the tape of it hitting him. She made the initial contact, she deserved it.

I'm surprised the dad was so casual about a video of his daughter getting beat lol >.>.

I'm surprised he was so casual about his daughter getting arrested for "borrowing her friend's mom's car without permission."

You don't know the situation though, they could of actually borrowed it. For all we know they do borrow the car sometimes after asking and they didn't this time and the mom just didn't know who took it, or w/e else.

I would think if a cop beat someone in your family excessively for anything though it would be more of a concern then what they did.

Good for the officer. The girl sounds like a fool anyways, I don't believe at all that she didn't run her mouth enough to deserve it.

No wonder the cop punched her in the face LOL
But really he shouldn't have lost his temper like that and he should be punished.

The ignorance of some people in this forum is quite stunning....

First of all, the girl's 15. Second, if I heard the report correctly, she was with the daughter of the car's owner - therefore they might have been taking it for a short joyride (it's stupid but they're teenagers; you expect that type of behavior from them). Either way, the officer's actions don't even come close to being justifiable.

Besides, that pig is obviously an abusive power-hungry fuck. I mean, beating a 15 year old girl over a little shoe toss and some (expected) negative comments? Give me a fucking break.

Btw, I seriously think that SOB needs a steroid test.

I don't consider that a beating.

And I don't blame the cop either. She steals a car, lips to cops, then kicks her shoe at them. A kick in the ass is exactly what she needs, and once again it's up to the government to take care of inept parents.

Yea, she looked totally out of control and stuff, you can always tell when they sit there quietly being polite and stuff, thats an obvious sign of car theft and dangerous behavior.

A full grown man beat a 15 year old girl for calling him names, he used the shoe as an excuse, that's it.

lol you guys don't even know her how can you say she deserves it, you have heard nothing but her calmly talking to the reporter w/e.

"Borrowing without permission" is pretty much stealing, isn't it? Her excuse was faulty. But I think that cop went a little too ape shit on her. That was just too much for a little shoe kick.

lol I don't excuse her and see her innocent for stealing but I don't think she should of been handled so roughly for something so frivolous like a shoe fling >.>

EDIT: fcking typos!

There's a level or a line if you like. If the police officer needs defend himself from a shoe hitting him there's better ways of handcuffing her, without a kick to the stomach, smacking her head into a wall, and dragging her by the hair. If having a shoe kicked at him is the worst of his fears, he should leave the police force. There's self defense, and there's taking something too far. He took it too far.

That's why police are trained to have self control. Perhaps the training is different there...

We QQ about the police being rough with a girl while the police in Rwanda were raping women with the muzzle of their rifles, firing rounds into them; making fathers rape their 4-5 year old daughters infront of the whole family and then executing the family; and cutting the breasts off kids and having them walk around holding them.

Maybe by our standards this is something that is unacceptable, but it doesn't deserve the attention it gets.
