[Music Game] Lyrical Thesaurus

Well, the premise of the game is simple. Unsure how long it will last given everyone's varied music tastes, but only one way to find out eh?
Basically, poster posts the lyrics to a (well known) song, but jumbled up and thesaurussed, with a clue, to help the guessers. Guessers then try to guess the actual song. Then they go.
Example:
Dream there is no afterlife
It's simple if you put your mind to it
No fire and brimstone underneath us
Only where the birds fly, above us
Dream about everyone
Existing everyday
clue: sounds like lemon
becomes:
Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today
(clue was lemon, sounds like lennon)
you see?
so, to start with something i percieve to be easy:
It shocks me the distance it went
Things are different to how they were at the start
You wouldn't be able to tell who i am any longer
Although you didnt really know me that well in the first place
But it all returns
At the finish
clue: Chain_____ fencing.
The beauty, is that if its too difficult, the thread will die and only I'll know the odd way my mind works

The answer is:
Linkin Park
In The End
Can't be bothered, at this precise moment, to post my own challenge. Perhaps later.

An ULTIMATUM? Fine...
My only clue was that I'm going 80's pop on your asses. I'm sure 90% of you are under 10, so that'll screw things a little

Having said that, this is so blatantly obvious and so ridiculously well-known that I see someone grabbing it within seconds.
It's nearing the witching hour,
and an object of great malevolence is sneaking in a shaded area.
Below the lunar glare,
A cardiac-arrest-inducing image appears in your eye-line.
You make an attempt to create a shrill vocal exclamation,
However, in advance of you creating the noise, dread acquires it.
Your body temperature begins to drop below zero degrees celcius,
But at the same time, the top of your nose is stared at by fright.
You have lost all mobility.

ANSWER: Michael Jackson - ThrillerIt's close to midnight and something evil's lurking in the dark
Under the moonlight you see a sight that almost stops your heart
You try to scream but terror takes the sound before you make it
You start to freeze as horror looks you right between the eyes,
You're paralyzed

Not long ago I spotted an individual
It is highly unlikely that I shall forget the specifics of where and when we became acquainted
I firmly believe that they are my ideal female life-partner
Also, it is my deepest wish for the entire human species to know of this event
yum yum yum yumyumyum
Clue: Rickenbackers anyone?

ANSWER: I've Just Seen a Face, by The Beatles (a little known band very few people will have heard of).
I've just seen a face,
I can't forget the time or place
Where we just met.
She's just the girl for me
And I want all the world to see
We've met, mmm-mmm-mmm-m'mmm-mmm

I'll think of one soon

Hobbes seems to be forgetful
Every route that is in the direction of travel is not straight
Every lamp requires me to wear sunglasses
There are a plethora of words i could speak
I'm uncertain how
Possibly, I said
You could be the person who grants me salvation
And when everything is completed
Its you who is my superfenceClue: Siblings

I'm guessing wonderwall from oasis.
Well from the 1st lines.
And all the roads we have to walk are winding
And all the lights that lead us there are blinding
There are many things that I would
Like to say to you
But I don't know how
Because maybe
You're gonna be the one that saves me
And after all
You're my wonderwall
Gonna wait to post one from my own until I know it's correct.

There is a female person who is confident
That all the lights are of rich yellow color
And she's acquiring possession of a climbing path to the afterlife
When she moves enough, she gains knowledge
If the stalls are all unopen
With a unit of language she can get to her goal
Ooh, ooh, And she's acquiring possession of a climbing path to the afterlife
Clue: It flies
Another clue: sometimes played in reverse

Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven
Theres a lady whos sure
All that glitters is gold
And shes buying a stairway to heaven.
When she gets there she knows
If the stores are all closed
With a word she can get what she came for.
Ooh, ooh, and shes buying a stairway to heaven.
I'm terrible at the whole acronymizing thing, so anyone want to take this one, feel free.

As he refenestrated
There were noises that increased in volume
He entered her abode
He sanguinated onto her carpet
She escaped beneath the furniture
He was able to envisage that she was no longer able
Therefore, she further escaped into the bedroom
Here she was knocked over, it was her fate
Clue: Ma'am, are you alright?

As He Came Into The Window
It Was The Sound Of A Crescendo
He Came Into Her Apartment
He Left The Bloodstains On The Carpet
She Ran Underneath The Table
He Could See She Was Unable
So She Ran Into The Bedroom
She Was Struck Down, It Was Her Doom
Again, anyone wanna take it?
Clue: Annie, are you ok?
