I live in New York City, and when I woke up today, It was so fcking cold and I checked outside, a huge blanket of snow. Then before I was about to go to school, my bro tells me there isn't any school and I found this.

Sometimes I get "too hot days". Very rarely though. I want snow days, and to live in New York City. Swap?

Lol thank goodness I don't have school until next week. I took my dogs out to take a piss around 1AM this morning and the snow was only like 4-6 inches at most. So I woke up this morning, opened to backdoor to let them out in the backyard and went "WHAAT THE FUUUCK?!" It was like a foot and a half and my dogs basically sunk under the snow lol. So I just had to spend the past 45 minutes shoveling all the steps, the backyard and the front then salting through the snow and wind.

I'm surprised they actually closed down the schools around the NYC area since they never did that for us when we were in HS. And it was pretty much the same, if not worse, situation. Bastards...

I live in Queens btw.

Lol..I really am. Whenever I think the cold weather here is shitty as hell, I think about the good folks in Canada and Russia then I lol and everything's alright

I don't know how you people live in cold weather. I'm no fan of hot weather, hence my sitting in the air conditioning. Isn't -18 degrees a bit extreme? I guess you'd get used to it. Today was 33 degrees celsius today. Quite hot, very muggy.

Fahrenheit I think, not Celsius. But yeah it's still pretty cold. It's only 21F here right now but wind gusts make it feel like 10 or lower.

Depends where you live. I live half way up Australia on the East Coast, across from the beach. It gets humid here, but anything below Sydney (Melbourne, Adelaide etc) have a really dry heat as it blows off the Great Victorian desert.

last 3 days here were super cold and heavy rains ,but nothing was canceled

lolsnowdays. Have fun finding out that your summer vacation is shortened because they usually make those up at the end of the school year.
