If was your parents you'd be getting the cheapest phone they have.

I was always trying to get best phone i could afford - here they were up to 800$ , but now i realise how much waste it was , just check anything with 2mb pixel camera and the ability to call, and it's better if it's not a slider - they break pretty fast
anyways
Vibration Yes

GO FOR IT!

hiphone?

improved chinese iphone:
the HiPhone also improves upon the iPhone by adding two sim cards (with no need to turn off the phone), a removable battery, (you have to take the iPhone to the dealer when the battery dies), six surround sound speakers (compared to iPhone's three), and the ability to use the phone anywhere with any carrier. You are not stuck with AT&T and its large monthly bill. In many ways, the HiPhone arguably has more features than the iPhone. The clone also introduced the world to "shake technology." When you want to change the music or wallpaper on the HiPhone, you just shake the phone instead of scrolling.

The HiPhone is currently about $150, but that price will undoubtedly come down as more become available. Most of the clones are currently around $100. For that low price, as well as the ability to choose your own low cost carrier, the savings on the HiPhone are pretty substantial. If you're not ready to commit to the iPhone or it's contract, the HiPhone may well be worth a look.

The Cookie looks pretty nice.

I myself have a viewty, which is only €10,- more expensive.
Viewty has a 5.0 mp camera, cookie has 3.2. The cookie has a motion sensor but the viewty doesnt.
Battery of viewty has 640 hours standby and 6 hours calling (if i remember correctly)

2G and 3G are types of mobile internet. Viewty has 3G.

I don't know which one is relly better, they both have nice features and both lack things.

Face it, LG can't build a solid phone, don't waste money on this.

I'd avoid it personally. Someone I work with has one and I've found the touch screen to be especially unresponsive - to the point of irritation. A friend has another LG phone which, again, wasn't all that responsive. But I've played wit thhe LG Cookie a fair bit and I certainly wouldn't go for it.

I don't exactly admire the design though.
