I restored my comp to an earlier time but lost some pretty important files, now I want to revert back to the old setup but I have no idea how. There is only two options.. Restore computer to an earlier time OR Create a restore point.
Help :x?

no there is no way you can undo it. What you can do for future reference is create an image of your hard drive once a month so that you can either restore to that if you dont have anything sooner or use it to recover programs and files.

If I am not mistaken you would have had to create a backup on a disk of on the day you restored. then when you run sys restore and have the disk in you will have that option.

If you chose an earlier date (there's usually 3 posted dates on mine), you might have a chance at "restoring" it to a later date (even if it's before the date you were originally in).
