In my computers never ending mission to piss me off its come up with something new.
My internet is working fine, I'm posting from another computer in my house right now, but mine wont display any webpages. I can play games, download music, get on aim/msn/yahoo but webpages just don't work.
It always says the connection with the server was reset.
Any suggestion on how to fix it?

try not using limewire and clean your system of infections... then if that doesnt work, backup your shit and format, don't waste too much time trying to figure stupid shit out, just format it. you need a fresh start anyway, i know it.

I have a blak hard drive, if I were to stick everything I want to save from my main hardrive how would I prevent that from being deleted when c: is formatted?
Would I have to do a basic system restore if I don't have awindows install disk, thats what I did before but I think that will wipe my other hd.

if you use an external HDD you can just save your stuff there, disconect the hdd from pc and just format the computer

Have you configured your network settings? If your running through a proxy you might not have your proxy and port settings configured correctly, that would explain why only browers aren't responding.

Maybe you have did something to your internetz.
If your on wireless, i suggest going to the wireless icon on yo tab, and click repair.
That don't work, then turn off things in order
1. Main Computer (optional, if it is already off)
2. Router
3. Modem
Then open back these in order
1. Main Computer (optional really)
2. Modem, then wait for the light to stop blinking
3. Router
then wait for a while.
This is what i do, whenever my internet goes down, and stuff.

it was a joke lol
When was the last time you did a full reinstall of windows? Usually doing this every 6 months or so will keep things running smoothly.
