Well I somehow made it to State Championships for C++ (Michigan lolz)
but problem is
I know nothing bout C++
I absolutely know nothing bout C++
I dont even have a program to do anything C++ related
So I need someone to give me a beginners guide or to just help me with it =(
anything will be appreciated

wow, what was it that got you in on this thing in first place? was it a question or something? "what is C++: a. prog language b. very healthy soup?" lol. sorry i only know some low level Java, that's it.

How did you get to state championships if you don't know anything?

There was nobody else competing in the city championship
I couldnt even do the task they asked lolol
so they just moved me to states XD

forfeit now before u make a fool of yourself lol

seriously...if that's the reason they pulled u into the state championships - be very wary you'll get slaughtered by the nerds.

my dad tought C++ for a living. he got a teaching award or something for umber 1 teacher in texas. he had his own buisness and made milliopns. he is now retired and lives in dubai.


i know everything there is to know about C++ its a very hard language. my dad wrote a few books on it haha

Well the book is really the best way to learn; online is second tier junk.

But both get the job done, but the book I linked you too will aid you in later programming... as in advanced programming.

Bah C++.... I do C# much better to code in imo, so can't really help thou

Well first of all dude coding takes years to be good at it so you should just give up but if you want to try I suggest learning Assembly first:

If you know assembly, then c++ will be very very easy to learn it takes some time to understand but its a fun thing to do. Also you can do C++ in notepad and cmd, just depends on what you're makeing.
