What Teh Fack?

Vivisections were performed on prisoners after infecting them with various diseases. Scientists performed invasive surgery on prisoners, removing organs to study the effects of disease on the human body. These were conducted while the patients were alive because it was feared that the decomposition process would affect the results.[15][12] The infected and vivisected prisoners included men, women, children, and infants.

Those limbs that were removed were sometimes re-attached to the opposite sides of the body.

^What sense does this even make

every once in awhile someone brings this up. Funny how we're taught the Holocaust in school but never stuff like this, probably had something to do with the US cover-up to obtain all the data the scientist gathered...

yes this is true, although I can't remember why the US covered it up, but there was a deal to cover the mess up, thats why no one knows about the dirty little secret about the Japanese. Their legacy has a lot more dirty things than anime and toyota.

Every country has their dirty little secrets and Americans are far from excempt in that department. As sad as it is to say, these...exercises, seem to just be the way people treat each other universally.

There;'s a movie about it. Its in Chinese with English sub, i'm sure you guys can find it on torrent somewhere. My gosh after I watch that movie, I almost vomit, I keep skipping parts, it was hell on earth. What the Japanese did to the Chinese, I don't blame them at all for still hating the Japanese, it was the worst crime against humanity, at least the nazi just shot and gas their prisoners, in that unit they rape, mutilate and experiment on children and the blood my god.. arrghh

People are forgetting that not only Japan did these kind of experiments. So did the CIA in America and the KGB in Russia during the Cold War.

If I remember correctly, there was a provision in the Japanese terms of surrender that absolved them of all their warcrimes. I don't think the Japanese were ever held accountable, like the Nazis were, for what they did during the war. Probably has something to do with Japan wanting to fight to bloody end and us not wanting to have to drop more nukes on them (but that's totally what we would have done had it continued).

The CIA and KGB did a lot worse during the cold war. Just look at south east asia and latin america for plenty of examples of torture/mass killings supported by both countries.

After Imperial Japan surrendered to the Allies in 1945, Douglas MacArthur became the Supreme Commander of the Allied Powers, rebuilding Japan during the Allied occupation. MacArthur secretly granted immunity to the physicians of Unit 731 in exchange for providing America with their research on biological warfare.
