Recommend a movie!

I think I made such a thread earlier somewhere else, can't find it here so I guess it was another forum.
Anyways, someone posts a movie he liked and you try to recommend a movie somewhat in the same category. Also post a movie you wish another recommendation for, else we're stuck in the same genre.

Since there is no one above me I will post my recommended and movie I enjoyed together.

My recommendation to you: Road to Perdition, great music, good actors, nice story, I liked it.

Movie I enjoyed and wish to find a similar one: Road to Perdition

Do you guys like this idea?

Quarantine
The Descent

Pretty good, not too gory, or gory much. Horror movies.

Since my girlfriend told me that "Twilight" was a huge let-down (no surprise there), I had to look around for a good vampire movie and I found an excellent one from Sweden called "Let The Right One In." Unlike that bitter bitter disappointment of a "blockbuster," this one certainly does not look like it spawned from the anal canal of myspace. It's based on a book with a similar title; however, the film version left out some of the more controversial subjects such as pedophilia. Although the movie revolves around the relationship of a human boy and a young blood-sucking female, the whole vampire thing, IMO, was utilized to give it a sick romantic touch and is only part of an even deeper focus.

Send me a message if you want a link to movie streaming video.

Definitely one of my favorite movies.

Forrest Gump. A very nice movie, in which you don't know if you should laugh, or cry. Really a good movie.

Also, Edward Scissorhands, a really good movie.

If you're a 12 year old girl, then yes, watch Twilight. If you're any sort of intelligent and self-respecting person, do not watch Twilight.

Also liked 28 Days Later. Most people didn't like it because it was actually a drama and not so much horror genre. Never saw 28 Weeks Later though. I think that was more geared toward horror.

Unborn was terribly predictable and simple. Didn't feel satisfied leaving the theatre

Completely agree. Same with The Uninvited. Movies these days suck. I want to bring back the old, good movies.
