It's been doing this all day long just doing pulses of high speed then drops to low speed, its really irritating me! HOMG! any help? I have never really had that happen to me before... I checked thermometers everything is indicating in the green / one yellow, but that's not the reason...

It's trying to cool it. Without the fan it will overheat and turn off. Your fan is probably on it's last leg of it's life. You might wanna check if you can send it in to get fixed.

yea i had the same thing, everything read fine, but id go thru fast phases and dire lag phases, took it to the geek squad thinking it was my processor, it was the fan, i really just took one of those big box fans, put it on a book, then but the laptop on it, its not so great for desk use, but if you lazy and have no life its great for sitting on the bed, my laptop could S**t icicles its so cold now XD

weird, but ill go get it checked ive always had an external fan...

There are some that cool like that on purpose, they will run at a low speed and every so often they will rev up and throw out a lot of hot air, and do it every once in awhile.

Yeah it would if its made for that, but guessing youve had it for more than 3 days. Was just pointing out another way they are cooled, wasnt really saying it was the case for you. Just wanted to say that so if anyone did have one that cooled that way, they wouldn't think it was messed up.
