Removing troops from Afghanistan now would be a bad idea. After we helped them defeat the Russians, we didn't help them rebuild there infrastructure which lead to all of those terrorist groups coming to hate us. That hatred lead to 9/11. Leaving them now would be bad if not worse. If we leave the Taliban would quickly take control again and making all of our work there useless. We would have to stay until either the Taliban is successfully removed or the country has a government/military to fend off the Taliban. Wait a second... that kind of sounds like Iraq...


Anyways, removing troops from Iraq is what we need, theres not much else we can do over there that will help.
