Seriously, everywhere I go now. Whether it be on YouTube, other Forums.. etc EVERYONE likes to throw in their "America sucks", "Fcuk America" and every other word under the sun. I really hate it when people judge a country without ever having gone to it. People stereotype, and make outright stupid comments! Sure I've had my share of "America sucks" comments I have said, though I don't mean it, I just say it to start a flame-fest or a joke. Every Australian person who says "America sucks" is clearly just stupid...

Why am I saying this? Well recently, I have been just getting random hate comments in my forum message boxes or on YouTube. I see what Americans have been going through for all this time. People that are jealous.

Here's the shit I get.

Then I get Japanese people sending me messages telling me to get "fcuked you racist white piece of kangaroo eating shit".



Why do I get this? Because Japanese media apparently makes Australia sound like all rednecks. Just because Greenpeace Australia crashes into Japanese whaling boats on purpose to stop them from whaling. Taking innocent whales from the ocean (Might I say, It isn't THEIR ocean they're taking some of the endangered animals from). Then we make ads, which are intended to be jokes which typically; the Japanese take seriously. Sure, a lot of Australians since they bombed Darwin back in WW2, and drove their Submarines into Sydney Harbor and started attacking Australia. Though, why do they hate us? Because we don't want them using whales for their "scientific experiments".

AKA. Whale burgers.


Now the Japanese whalers have resorted to using some amplifiers that cause internal pain to the ears of people. It's like a beam which they shoot at a boat and it makes a loud sound (iirc 150DB).

ANYWAY, That is my rant for today.

1. Flamebaiting is worse than saying something with a belief behind it.
2. There are Australians who have lived in American and disliked it. They are entitled to their opinions.
3. Most people who says these things are kids. There are immature as it is, do you remember what it was like to be a kid? Hell when i was first on srf i was an absolute dick, because i didn't know any better. I grew up, got smarter and matured. Stop comparing everyone to your own self proclaimed superiority.

And this is different from Americans hunting other animals.. how? What's the difference between me killing a rat and eating it and killing a whale and eating it? Especially when majority of the Japanese don't even care and still travel here, yet it is those Japanese who realise that what they see on the media isn't real. It's overblown, because most Australians are extremely laid back and chill. I don't mean to totally stereotype Japanese people though "some" Japanese people have no problem stereotyping everyone else.

Oh and what about all those Japanese people you are insulting and sterotyping? Is that ok too? Or are you allowed to do it because they did it to you first? The simple fact is that sterotyping and racism has existed for years, especially towards Asian cultures (not just Americans, remember that). There are 2 stances you can take in my eyes. You either a.) Refuse to take part and tolerate it or b.) You accept that it will exist and not make anyone out to excluded from it.

Now lets see what you have done.

You preach how hard it must be for American's to deal with this while openly mocking Japanese culture with a complete and utter lack of respect for their feelings. How about asking "How can you Japanese people deal with it" because frankly they all share same thing. We all do. Just because you like American it doesn't grant it free passage from this racial war we live in. So either tolerate everyone and live like a hermit without degrading anyone, or just go all out and realize that this turf war does not exclude anyone.
