i have a windows xp ultimate skin on my laptop, it's all black
with a few vista-like tweaks. i think it's called bricopacks
or something, not on my laptop right now.

or download the royal noire theme gets the desk all black too.

Alright cool. I got the thing working and loaded the new theme thingy, but then all my desktop files/shortcuts disappered. Any ideas on how that happened? I switched back into the classic for now untill i know how to import my files

Most themes mask your icons.

So what does that mean? I tried restarting, but it didnt work. I also cant see my starting bar, which is at usually at the bottem on the screen, so i can see whats running and whatnot from there. any ideas? ( getting off now, will check the forum in the morning )

It takes a long time to find a nice theme, they each have their downsides =P. I ended up getting rid of the black one since the interface showed even when I was playing games. I'm trying this one now.
