I have a question. Let's say I want to make a movie out of a book like "The Great Gatsby". Where (and who) can I contact in order to discuss licenses and/or permission (due to copyrights) to make my film? I tried googling it but i can't find any specific contacts.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: copyrights
pretty sure copyright is 50 yrs for books/death of the author, so if ur making movie for gatsby there is no one to stop u, and unless ur making a huge film, no one is gonna stop u... pretty sure

thnx Kraq
