iPod help

Hey, my brother recently found a band called Axenstar, and I listened to them and I think they're pretty damn good, but there's some trouble: I copied his files onto my computer, and all the songs play fine in iTunes, but when I put them on my ipod, select songs just stop a few seconds into the song.
Btw, I know the iPod classic has this issue, but mine is a 5th generation ipod, so wtf's with that? It's also kind of ironic, because my brother has an ipod classic, but it plays fine on his.

So... How do I make the files play properly? Thanks.
