So every month the internet bill is due on monday. And my mom gets paid on tuesday. so every month the bill is day late. And Comcast actually shuts off my internet and phone for that one day, untill they get payment on tuesday. This morning i woke up, it was about quarter to 6am and i was checking my email and guess what... at 6am, comcast shut off the internet. 6am in the dam morning. and its not just a normal cant acsess the internet. they actually make it so if you try to go on the interwebz all you get is a comcast screen (not the one that you go to .net or .com) and if you try to call someone, it automaticly dials the number strait to comcast.

and if that wasnt enough. every month when my mom pays the bill on tueday(remember just 1day late) they tac on 30$ in late fees, and another 27$ in "reconnection" fees. like wtf?

anyways thats just my frustration.

Keep extra money in the checking.

Then you can pay comcast whenever needed regardless of payday.

yeah it sounds like someone is in serious need of budgeting...bills should be paid on time all the time...if you went without the internet for 1 pay period you can save that money and keep it around to pay comcast the next period. That would make sure you have enough money to pay for the bill each week...

Why not call em and ask em to move the day you pay 1 day later or somethin, they aren't completely unreasonable.

I've had comcast a few times, they've kept it on and let me pay a lil late, even skipped a month before and paid extra the next months to catch up.

Seriously man, if at the end month there is no money for the damn internet bill how do you guys do stuff like vacations etc?
My parents always were savers, I guess they saved too much, but when I get older and start making money etc I'll save some money for emergencies as well.

Not everyone goes on vacations and stuff ;d.

you dont even know... my mom barrows money from me to pay for gas and cigs. she doesnt save anything. and the last time we went on vacation was when we went to sea world when i was 8

Smoking cost a lot of money lately. Theres a budget saver right there. couple hundred a month imo.

Not everybody can afford vacations. Not everybody can afford internet.

To be honest hawk, as a lot of people have said, just budget. If she smoked a few packets less every month she could easily pay the bill on time. Really don't see where Comcast are at fault here. You signed a contract with them to pay on a certain date and your breaking that contract.

Like it was said above just call them and have some special arrangement made for you guys or something.
