Windows XP CD Key in registry..?

How can I find my Windows XP CD key in the windows registry? Anyone know?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion

The number is listed under ProductId

Wait actually one more question, would my XP Media Center code work for Windows XP Pro?

i couldn't use xp pro on xp home, so i am gonna say no

Product ID is not registry key! Read this: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/tipstricks/ht/findxpkey.htm

"The manual techniques used to locate the product key for operating systems like Windows 95 and Windows 98 will not work in Windows XP. Those manual procedures will only locate the product ID number, not the actual product key used for installation."

You can only find out your registry key by some programs like these listed on this page:

Oh, sweet, that program rules, got all the info. It says my CD key is a XP Pro CD KEY, so I'm guessing it'll work.
