3rd party sound driver and recording program?

Does anybody know if I could get some sort of 3rd party driver or program that records sounds being played from my computer. My current sound card on my laptop doesn't have that feature; so im kinda stuck recording vids with no sounds. Which brings me to my next question: Whats a good recording program that records whats on your computer screen (other than FRAPS and WeGame)
