So I just recently ordered some stuff on Newegg.com, I checked it a while later, Status:Void, I call and see what the problem is, they canceled it and the reason is "Fraud", they don't even say why. After that gets straightened out(but still never gave a reason why) they say 2-3 days before I get my money back. 2-3 days later, no money, called em and they say 4-5 days. 4-5 days later, called up the credit card company, they say they need a fax from newegg, called up newegg, 24-48 hours to send a fax. 48 hours later, no money, called the credit card company, they didn't get a fax. Called newegg, they said they would send a request to the person who was supposed to send the fax to see whats goin on, "how long will it take this time?" "Don't know".

It's been 9 days Newegg.com has taken my order, and canceled it due to fraud but still thought it appropriate to take my money lol. Anyone had any problems with em like that? It's gettin pretty annoying, it's like they are trying to just keep it.

They gave you the reason "Fraud" because they are the ones doing it. I see a lawsuit.

Bought from them and Ncix and haven't had any problems before. Hope it gets sorted out. Out of curiosity what were you buying?

I have bought a bit from Newegg, one time I had a problem but it was fixed very quickly. I think they have good customer service.

Happened to me once but they just voided the sale and I hada rebuy the items. They are making sure the money they are getting wont get chargedback.

Yea that's what they did, they voided my order, told me i'd have to re order it, but haven't given my money back yet.

Buy why are they making sure it doesn't get charged back since they are the ones that voided it -.-.

Yea what happened with mine was they went to charge the card but my card was never used online at the time so my company paused the transaction for a day till they called me and newegg canceled it thinking it was stolen. Probably happen the same way but the charge went through after it was voided.

After the 4-5 days i'dd have called them like "You Will fax my creditcard company now, and you will send me a CC, if i dint receive anything within 3 more days legal action will be taken >:D

newegg could be good, but sometimes it just gets retardedly stupid.

i'm waiting for my new vid card, apparently, my card was denied or somethin, but i checked wit my bank and they said nope everything's fine, and newegg has this thing where they try again after 1-2 business days to verify the card. it's been 4 business days and my order is still there, but the card is still being verified.

Forgot to mention also there was a couple sales I had on some of the stuff, it was just like 10 bucks or so with those promo codes, when I told em about it and that they ended and I missed it since they canceled it, they were just like "well its only $10" lol >.>.

Think i'll try to find the stuff from somewhere else though when I get it >.>, I still like Newegg and i'll hope it's just some 1 time problem, but i'm tired of waitin and I want mah shit! lol =x.

Never had a problem with Newegg, and over the last 3 years I've bought over $2500 worth of computer parts from them. I hope for all our sakes it's a one-time deal, because if their customer service drops below their usual level I'll have to seek alternatives

is a good idea to always buy your cheapest part first when buying online from anywhere for the first time.

that sucks then but i always play it safe and in situations like yours when i dont know how the site has changed since the last time i bought from them i do as i mentioned earlier. btw newegg has excellent reputation and i also buy from them so glad you sorted it out ( this hasnt happen to me the 2 times i have bought from them ).

When sellers on Amazon won't answer your e-mails when you want to cancel an order cause they are greedy and Amazon says "I can't help you". That's when they suck the hardest.
