Don't mess with monks. They will rape you! (Not literally of course).

The monks were so on top on that situation it's not even funny. The differences in strenght and mental abilities were so clear.

Bet you 18 bucks that if Reise punched those monks, they would be in a casket.:P

No need, I will personally take care of them. With one hand in my pocket, only kicks and I will only use my right hand and arm to block their attacks.

Shouldn't take to long, be back before dinner.

They wouldn't be able to "distrubute" their whole "chi" energy in a fight. If you notice the Chi energy is distributed to a certain part of their body.

ur so wrong a punch with chi would send a MMA fighter to his grave they are decent fighters but not a monk. If a MMA fighter is class C then Monk a averge monk is S++. MMA ppl fight sloopy and in the ring so many rules y u think they grapple because the strikers have limited i cant poke in the eyes cant kick the groin so many things u cant do in MMA. let a real striker fight a MMA fighter and we would see. MAn only decent MMA fighter is BJ Penn. A monk would even kick Bruce Lee asss they been training SINCE THEY WERE KIDS AND THATS ALL THEY DO!! They dont get distracted its not just the fights its their mentalities. I felt like u just stabbed me in the heart with ur lack of information. Also Iron Body the 3rd lvl is only needed if the person is using a weapon but a punch the hard skin would be more then enough for a defense againt a MMA fighter. I could go on and on but im not.

Man do u know how weak a punch is compare to say a finger thrust? a finger or a knife hand is 18X more powerful then a punch also palm attack they attack ur organs like see a MMA fighter survive that if a monk walked in ufc he would be undeafeated with ease even grapples wouldnt work since they train their bodies to withstand that stuff at a yound age the hang themselves so neck hold wont even hurt them. I completely agree with user

its really hard for most people to picture no matter how many videos they watch. the training, the intensity and the results. nothing western can compare to these monks, and including many asian martial arts style watever. all the flashy styles in asia originated from the basics of the training these guys receive. every martial art, you start with the stances, how to focus. there is no comparison between these guys and westerners. not to take away anything from MMA fighters. any of them could go to china and train and then come back to be one of the toughest and baddest fighters. i have persoanlly met not monk, but one of these marital arts powerhouses, who trained under the same teacher with Jackie chan. believe it or not, jackie chan actually has solid foundation in his skills, its not hollywood. the movies he made in china are mostly without special effects.

the first step to doing what the monk did, is just breathing out and scream if you ahve to as the punch hits your stomach.

lol at all the comments on this thread by our lovely clueless community.

*not making comment on how little chinese monk weighting in at 100ish lbs is somehow suppose to have any effect on 200ish lbs MMA fighter*

*maybe is making a comment on what great athletes those monks are but is saying at the same time that people dont take a minute to think that those monks dont really fight ( yes i will ask for links on it ) and all your comments are based on nothing and ftr people who fight using styles based on those shown above suck major ****** and that is a fact for real time fighting and i invite you to take your time to check on that.*

*could be pointing out how your center of gravity is around your waist and that your blows become rather effective once you have mastered/know how to fully utilize this, and would like to add that this can be linked to my first possible comment on weight and i wont bother to explain that one because is none of your business to read it if you dont understand the effect of weight on any mass.*

would it matter if you are 100lb vs 200lb if you get kicked in the throat?

Sure, it would take down the MMA fighter but he could just as easily kick the monk in the chest and hes down for the count.

Like love said, the size of the monk would be his downfall.

"You defintely will have broken ribs and probably a bruised heart." <-- I have to say thats the results for the average joe, you need to factor in the the conditioning that strengthened the bones

1. if a fight is just a number game, then it will end up withTKD's spinning backkick, muay thai's knee strike, boxing's punches. but it is not, you have numerous factors to take in
2. it also seems like you guys are forgetting the fact that these people eat plain food, while MMA got shit loads of supplements to take. if you can bulk up mma, why cant you bulk up monks?

No one can proove if MMA stronger or monk stronger if no one fight each other. And it's not because someone has more weight means that he is stronger. The strength is define by the internal energy (qi).

IMO, the monk would win because he knows martial art, kungfu, while the MMA fighter only knows kicking and hitting but avoid attack and special move. For me, the best martial art is the Tai Chi, which use the opponent attack as your own, the more it is strong, the more he gets hurt.

This remind me of the film, Fearless:
