im 16. not in school ( oh snap ) and i need a state ID. now heres my problem ( besides school) my S.S.Card is laminated. my father thought" well i wanna protect the card" and so i must use my birth certificate to get a new S.S card and with that i can get a state ID. now my question is. how much do you think if would cost me to get both of them? i only ask you because i dont wanna go down to the places to find out
edit: i was in GameStop and they wouldnt leme buy a M rated game >.> ( they think im 17 but no id = no sale "

You need 3 state-issued forms of identification to get your ID. You can use birth certificate and SS Card but you'd still need a third one (most people use their voting certificate or drivers license). I'm not sure if the fee varies from state to state but it's usually around the $20-30 range.

and no im not an illegal immigrant. and yes i know i wont get far thats why im getting my GED and yes a GED isnt the same but you dont know my story so stay out of it? kthxbye.
