laptop help

i am buying a new laptop i looked around and i think i will buy this one, but i want some expert opinions
this one is HP, it costs 1175 USD which is about how much i want to spend, i dont want to go over
so any suggestions? could i get more with my money? i also dont know too much about computers so bash me if u need

I think you can get a better graphics card with that kind of money. And, $1125 is just too much for a laptop. Buy something that's $900-$1000.

Don't buy HP. Couple my friends broke their HP's in less than 1 month. So if I were I would consider some other brand.

HP are reliable. The 9600gt is a good card, but see if you can get a 9800 if its not too much more. Otherwise it looks good.

Well with my experience HP's are piece of junk but it's your choice.

Well 9600gt will play you any game out there , so i dont know.
9800 would be awesome but usually video cards are making the prices actually go much higher .
8600gt can play crysis on medium with 25+fps , 9600 will beat that easily...

The 9 series is a bit of a flop in the sense that many of the cards are either exactly level or worse in terms of performance than they 8xxx predecessors.
