belongs to the US? i always thought it was a small latin american country

It's a self-governing, unincorporated territory of the U.S just like Guam, and the others.

its a tiny, pathetic territory of the US that is protected by the United States and enjoys all the benefits of the Constitution yet don't pay taxes.

But yea it sux. We have something called ELA, or "Estado Libre Asociado" (Free Associate State) which is crap basicly and another thing called "Mantengo" (Maintenance) which gives families that dont earn much, home and coupons and it makes almost everyone depend on it. That's why ppl dont have the motive to progress. And with our new government I which is a statesman party and i don't approve of but i still have to live with it, is a closer step to becoming a state. And with the US economy blowing out we also get blown out and worse. This "Free Associate State" (doesn't make sense) has fcked us all in the ass and make us depend too much on USA.

And an independent Puerto Rico is one wish I've made lots of times, but it won't happen

If Puerto Rico splits from USA you guys will fail hardcore and you know it, at least it will be worse than it is now. its like catalunya willing to separate from spain, if they do so they will fail hardcore as well. But anyways Puerto Rico isn't the worst Latin American country..

We will fail due to lack of action, most puertorricans are lazy ass that party 12 hrs a day and don't work hard. But that's just something I have to accept and I was born and raised here and I really love Puerto Rico: the women, the beaches, the weed... lol

Yes, im from Venezuela and went a couple of times to Puerto Rico, and i loved it even though we got better womans here those over there aint bad at all, and the party and all the people, i didnt liked reggaeton much also but ever since my trips to PR i luv it nice island you guys got.

Do they say "ajaja" in real life? Do they also when they go to a restaurant ask for "Crap" instead of Crab?

I was watching ABDC3 (America's Best Dance Crew Season 3) and there was this crew called G.O.P Dance (GOP = Group of Peace) and they were all from Pureto Rico, and they lost and I lol'd because they sucked
