if you didn't watch it, then DON'T

its so bad compare to the video game. mila kunis as Mona? i mean come on, she is like Mona's baby sister. the movie doesn't emphasize on the plot enough, management turned into a typical b-class plotless action movie

if you are planning to watch Max Payne, i recommend Shoot 'Em Up instead

I watched it yesterday actually lol, but I dunno played the MP games and never really took time to read the stories ... I loved the film, all tho some people were badly casted ... like facking Nelly Furtado and Ludacris ( WTF ). Other than that it just makes me want to play the game and actually read the story instead of keep clicking 'next' when a comic-book scene comes up.

All in all, the film ... for me was excellent. I guess they should of switched Mila Kunis with Olga Sexyenko because to me .. that would of made more sense.

Loved the games, saw the movie on the première, and I liked it. You can't expect the makers to stuff the complete story into a 100 minute movie, so quit yapping about that.
Thing that I didn't liked what Nicole Horne in this movie. The criminal mastermind transformed into a pretty useless character imo. Other than that, good movie, I never regret seeing it.

instead of keep clicking 'next' when a comic-book scene comes up.

lol i dont understand ppl who do that. Dont you play games for the storyline too? My friend is worse though, when he played GTA4, he would skip all the talking scenes and just go right to the mission.

Didn't watch it.. Went to the cinema, but as often, like.. less then 10 people show up which isn't enough to let the movie going.

You're saying that if 8 tickets are sold for a movie, they won't show it? 0o When I went to Max Payne there were like 5 people there.

Idk really. I know that I see 'many' people waiting outside the cinema, I buy the ticket, wait outside too and all. After that they give me back my money and say it's canceled, lol. The ticket is fairly cheap too, 1,1 euro, or so.

The game was groundbreaking. I don't think the movie could have ever lived up to that. Watched the movie, 3/5 at most.

Yeah if I'm not mistaken it was Nelly's first appearance in a movie.

Valkyr was given to soldiers to increase their stamina and morale, but it was highly addictive and people using it began hallucinating and saw the Valkyries. You probably mixed them up with the aliens.

I loved MP2, unlike the majority, I liked 2 better than 1. Probably because I got a big thing for neat graphics. Vinnie was hilarious with his Captain Baseball Bat Boy collection, Vladimir Lem is still my favourite game villain and the levels in the madhouse were so brilliant.
Did not miss the follow-red-trail-of-blood-nightmares from MP1.

On a second thought, I don't even knows what does Nelly looks like so I am not sure why I was surprised that I didn't see her.

Mona was freaken hot (or fappable depends on your level of infacturation) in the game, total disappointment in the movie.

Vlad hooking up with that female cop was a shock, who was it that died, and the other tried to avenge his/her death on Max?

That blood-trail level was freaken hot, I kept on felling off the side.

I don't think the movie should have to apologize for not giving you a life action of the game's CG. I played the games a bit but never got into them, as a result, I looked at the movie as a movie and not as a live action CG.

I enjoyed it, I loved the dark ambience to it.
