Why does it say the Earth AND the Moon? Shouldn't it be just the Earth? You should weigh less on the moon right? Isn't that why the astronauts are able to jump up and down on the moon and "spacewalk", because Moon doesn't have such a great gravitational pull?

OT: 6 on Pluto, 350 on J0000piter.

Your weight as in mass doesn't change.
Your weight as in the effect of a big mass due to gravitation does change but it should be expressed in Newton and not in kilograms.

Hence the whole thing fails.

BTW weight = m*g
Where m is a constant and g depends on what planet you are and where on the planet. On earth it has an average of 9.81m/s² iirc.

Hmm maybe I can design a proper program that actually does the simple calculation, but I need to find the gravity on all the other planets

why does everyone only use Pluto and Jupiter?

aren't the other interesting enough or something.?

can't remember..

Oh, call me childish, but I giggled everytime I saw Uranus.
