me and my bro have a xbox 360 that was given to use as a gift its both of ours but he has it in his room and i barly get to use it. i would love to use it but i really cant. i do sometimes with him playing gears 2 or some other game online with him. i was thinking of getting a used one and my cus in law is the manager of a game-stop so i can get about 15% chipped off the price. i already have a few games for it like Fable 1, Fear Files, and halo 3 is both of ours. i have $165 and i was going to save for a good computer that i could take to college or something because im probaly going to a tech school. the computer i wanted is about $450-500 and i would get a 10% due to my mom. i also made a deal with my mom the if i paid for most of it they would help me out because i currently dont have a job. i really dont know what i should get i can get the 360 now and force me to get a job to get the computer (thats a good thing btw) or get the computer and let me bro move out with the 360 and everything. i could proably get him to pay for half because that 360 is still my half. what should i do?

EDIT: i should also add that when i first got my new tv and i tried it on there and left it in my room over night he went waco (this was about a year ago) and he even has some dvds of mine! then some games and the only thing of his i have is his 7 year old laptop that dosent even work anymore (i tried fixing it it worked untill the adapter died on me). oh i even found the gift he gave to my mom in his room because he was using it

EDIT2: hes also gana move out soon because hes 19 and hes going to take it with him and probaly my stuff too!

EDIT3: (XD so many edits) the computer i have right now can run my basic programs and such i can easly live off it for another 3 years tops. i just would like a better computer to have a better os faster cpu and such so i can do some gammingj and run bigger programs then this computer.

i would like comments on why you choose what you did.

Xbox360 is a entertainment device, it won't benefit you in anyway. Getting a computer, you can type documents, look up information, etc. But yet a computer can still be used for entertainment purposes. I say go for the computer. you'll need it.

If your computer is good enough you can PM me and I know of a site that you can "get" anything if your PC can handle it.

i already have a pc but its like 14 years old not to good i mainly use my moms but i cant custimize it and even still my moms comp aint to good.

You already have $165. Get your brother to fork over the other $150 that's half the value of the xbox and buy your computer , that's over 300 bucks right there....Then when you eventually do buy your xbox , I assume you will get a job by then, buy the arcade version for which is only $199 and switch the harddrive with your bros . Bam! you get him back for hogging the xbox and get all the stuff you need in one swift karate chop blow.

i like this idea but right now hes gana be forced to move to an area were we both can use it. but once he moves out ill do that :p should be soon anyways

dont waste your money on a pc 360s are definatily the best console out there atm

lol you can do alot more on a pc but i could get a used 360 for about $160 but you never know i am going to a tech school only if i knew were i could get a job >< iv looked at some places and they didnt hire me T_T im looking for a gamming type of place.

What I was going to say in a nutshell

ya im going to get the computer because this computer ran xp to slow and disconnected from my wifi connection to much. installed 2000 and it works like new. ill just charge him when he move out and put that to my own xbox thanks guys ^^
