So, I'm a long time player of SRO, since the beta release. (as for this account with low post counts...my normal one didn't work after the php3 update...and I was told to make a new one). Anyway...so the last few weeks have been depressing for me....SRO-wise.

I log on to my account for the first time in 5 months. I had to take a hiatus since med schools started...but, I logged on, and saw my main character de-leveled...de-guilded...no gold in storage...completly stripped. All the SOS-gears, weapons, etc. missing.

But, whatever, I know WHY it happened...before I stopped playing I gave my user/pass to a SINGLE person...who gave it to others...whatever....

So, I spent the last few weeks grinding it up...back to where it was using borrowed gear, etc. But, I still wanted my old guild back.

I just saw it...and the person with it even admitted that he/she got it from one of his/her friends who had hacked another character...><

Whatever...so the days go on.

I try to pvp...over and over I'm getting killed by a single character (http://www.rev6.com/player.asp?id=1991482)...when I was pvping (with people my level) on a new character I've been making (http://www.rev6.com/player.asp?id=265001).

I'm so frustrated...I can't grind (wasting my premium) because gold bots or plvlers are always in my normal spots, I can't pvp since I'm essentially 50 levels too low to do so, I can't trust anyone in game, ><"

Anyway, this all brings me to my question....

What game do you think I should play? I want something like SRO...but with a good community. I mean, I LOVED guild wars...but it gets boring. PVP...in the same 4 maps...><"
I hated WoW, sorry, crappy graphics aren't my thing.
Any suggestions?

Personally, I think the crappy graphics excuse is only used by people that haven't actually played the game. Yes, his sentence implies he has played, but I doubt its true.

After trying most of the games out there , i mean MMORPGS ,
the only games I REALLY loved were WoW and lineage2 , the last one might sound bit outdated and it is , i played it like 4 years ago and damn sieges were the thing that really amazed me all the time.
WoW have the most amazing GFX engine i ever saw even on high settings it goes pretty good on low end computers , and uses so less memory. But it lacked sieges ( but had raids - which are pretty much fun too), and + i played it on private server which lagged , crashed , didnt save the progress , and what not .

anyways , you probably won't play those so maybe it's time to start a life game

Yup, I used to say the same.

Now I'm playing WoW ad actually taking it seriously .. and can safely now say the graphics are amazing. Hell at some places I actually have to turn gfx settings down ;o

Real life guild wars

Nah seriously just quit all mmorpgs mate, I've quit'em all and I'm happy, more time for real life, studies and programming.

I don't even know why I keep going back to this forum, there's just something about it xD

Anyways, if all fails, two games are to be played after SRO IMO, WoW or guild wars.

Since you already played guild wars, I suggest actually trying WoW for a while, cause tbh with you I think it has great gfx, if you don't like it either then you pretty much don't like most mmorpgs.

Try cabal x300 if you get hacked you can just create a new char and ill take 1-2 to lvl it up

Perfect World...I'll try. I remember I started to download it...but it was too massive. I tried Sword of the new world though...wasn't really fun.

I prefer UT2K4 to CS...but everyone who's still online playing it...only use autotargetters...which means I can never keep up. ><

Perhaps, but graphics bring me to a game initially. Think of it like a girl...assuming you're a male. No what people say, looks matter. It's the looks that attract you to a girl initially, not personality. BUT, it's the personality that keeps you to her...not looks. And I have played wow. And I played for 1.5 months....lvl 60 priest...(before the addition)

I did play the game...I've played many games...I mean, it looks cartoony. I hate high graphics games usually but they have to be reasonable. I mean, I played GW (for a year) with them on medium...nothing special.

who cares about the archetypes when the AI is just incredible! you can even flirt with them

yea but you usualy get slapped back or put in jail.

and a lot of ppl are dirt poor

I did play the game...I've played many games...I mean, it looks cartoony. I hate high graphics games usually but they have to be reasonable. I mean, I played GW (for a year) with them on medium...nothing special.

If you played it, you would know how the graphics flow. If you actually do have a Lv60 priest, I'm sure it has a name, and your hate of WoW may in fact just be a hate of being a healbot. =P

And yeah Perfect World is the best f2p mmorpg imo.

CoD4 is pro. so is WoW. and did you play on a private server or on Live? because the private servers SUUUUCCCCCK

I tried the WoW trail that came with my 4870 1GB video card. It does have shitty graphics compared to other MMOs including SRO. Uninstalled after 5 minutes.

I say get into an FPS game.. I play halo, pretty dead game now though tbh. and bf2142 which is still really active and fun. Thinking of getting CoD4 or 5 soon.

I saw the game "Spore" earlier.
I have played it for only 30 mins but it seems really interesting.
Im not sure if you can play it online but i think its possible.
