cpinney wrote:its fast enough, its not like its slow, my browser opens in .5 seconds and the speed is fine and my pc has plenty of memory to handle it, altho at my computer at school i use google chrome because it has lower specs and i usually have 10-25 tabs open while working.
i remember seeing some chart of the speeds, its not a huge difference, its not like i have to wait 10 seconds for a page or for the browser to open >_>

i'm not talking about the speed it takes to open
i mean the speed it load web pages
maybe internet in usa is way better than it is here in egypt
but it means alot to me cuz opera load pages much faster than firefox
and when i type something like a forum post or something and wrongly open a link what i typed dosn't go
but firefox dosn't have this feature i think

im not really sure how the speeds on that work, it all depends on which sites you are trying to access on how fast they will open, if i try to access a site in canada its going to be faster for me then for you, just as it would be faster for you if you are trying to open a site in turkey then it would be for me. but considering how fast the browser processes the data i think that opera probably does that faster, but we are probably only talking hundredths of a second or so.
