Comes with Vista. If you have vista you won't need to download it.
Would be pointless installing dx10 on XP to be honest.

Because it's not native, and will probably cause more issues than its worth.
It's only now that dx10 games are beginning to out perform they dx9 counter parts. (Far Cry 2 for example).

dx 9 will last for a while longer dont worry, tbh the proformance and graphics you gain stil isnt all that much greater tbh, not gona lie it is better just nt enough to worry about

yeh and with high quality graphics like that i bet your gona be pushing 30-40 fps which yeh is playable til you hit something that uses a lot of graphic rendering, crysis looks beatuifull in high graphics but its not practicle on either direct x, fyi thats very very old that was some image released when vista came out

wait, i should have read the thing on the pik i was too quick to reply but nether the less what i said can translate to the more impressive dx10 pik.
But correct me if im wrong aint the planes in the sky far above all this detail? so why is it needed on a flight sim?

I remember reading an article about those pictures being fake. Wish I had the link to it..Either way there are some ways to get dx10 on xp but it's really not needed. If it's that important switch to vista =p

Mind not the game, the pic is just to show the difference, but then again Azilus says its fake. The fact of the matter is that DX10 just enhances the lighting.
